Vernal Equinox Celebrations

Tomorrow Monday 20th is the day when we have the Vernal Equinox. It happens at exactly 18:25:49 GMT. It is a shame that the Iranian authorities still cannot get their maths right and have told the world that it is at 18:25:35 GMT. There is a good summary on this http://persia.org/Culture/nowruz.html.

True to our philosophy of Life, we Iranians have respected importance of coincidence of Space-Time. The dual relationship of all existance, is the very essence of dualistic Zoroastrianism. Please remember that almost all Astrology in Iran was "wiped-out" by proselytising idealists like Salman Parsi, and others today.

In Iran we call the Vernal Equinox Celebration Nowrouz (it is spell in as many as 10 ways). Now means new, and Rouz means day. Fortunately Iranians have been able to celebrate this natural event, as the only method of keeping their distinct identity over the ages. We value the moment when light and darkness are equal, and the beginning of Life in the Spring.

So Happy Nowrouz to you all, and thank you for your support for this work.
